Q. When was the Association formed?
A. The Mustangs formed in 2004, and officially became a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit Association in early 2005.
Q. Where is the Academy (Indoor facility) located?
A. The MSA indoor facility was built in 2005, the indoor facility is located at 2250 N. Hoover Rd, Wichita, KS 67205.
Q. How many teams exist?
A. Currently, the MSA is home to 15 teams.
Q. What are the age ranges of the Mustangs?
A. Mustangs start at age 8 and are eligible to play through 18 years of age or graduation from high school. The Mustangs, in addition open up a T-ball league starting at age 5.
Q. What is the cost to participate?

Q. When are try-outs for MSA?
A. MSA hosts two try-out periods per year. Dates are subject to change. They are normally once in January and once in September. Individual try-outs are accepted by appointment only.
Q. How do I register my team for a tournament?
A. Please check on the tournament brochure for registration options. All registration forms are located under the MSA Indoor Tournaments link.
Q. How do the rules vary for an indoor tournament?
A. The rules are very similar to playing outdoors. The indoor academy contains a full-sized field with the left and right field lines at about 180 ft. Located on the ceiling is an outline of the base paths, so if a ball hits the roof/net, it is considered an out by judgment of the umpires.
Q. Do you have to be a resident of Wichita to be involved in MSA?
